Live Chat: Duke MBA Admissions

Chat: May 25, 2011, at 1 p.m. ET

Guest: Megan Lynam, director of admissions at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business (Fuqua Full-Time MBA Profile).

Duke University's Fuqua School of Business accepted 24 percent of its 3,506 applicants in 2010. If you'd like to be among the chosen, you don't want to miss our next live chat event on Wednesday, May 25, at 1 p.m. ET. Megan Lynam, director of admissions at Fuqua, will answer questions about everything from how to stand out to what kind of work load to expect.

Lynam earned her BA in psychology from Cornell University in 1997 and her MBA at Fuqua in 2003. She spent her early career in consulting, working for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Consulting. On graduation from Duke, Lynam took a role in the Brunswick Corp. (BC) Leadership Development Program, where she recruited Duke MBAs to come work for the company. This ongoing relationship with the Duke MBA program is what ultimately drew Lynam back to Durham, where she served as director of operations before taking on her current role in admissions. Lynam is a triathlete, a certified spinning instructor, and an avid baker, and she loves to spend her free time with a book on a boat.

To participate in the chat, head to the Chat Auditorium about 10 minutes before the scheduled event. You may be prompted to create a user name and password. It's free and should take only a few minutes. Francesca Di Meglio (screen name: FrancescaBW) will be your host. If you cannot attend the event, you can send your questions ahead of time to Francesca at FDBloombergBW@gmail.com with the subject "Fuqua Chat."
